Grandville is a city of some 17,000 people, nestled along the shores of the Grand River.  In addition to our fine residential areas, we have witnessed substantial commercial and industrial growth.  These are certainly positive indications that Grandville is an excellent place to live, work and play.

Grandville has been known as “the city of churches and parks.”  As you drive our streets, you will find them graced by many beautiful churches, which play an integral part in our lifestyle.  In addition, the foresight of our City Council has provided for an excellent park system, which provides recreation and leisure time for all of our citizens.

During the past ten years we witnessed substantial growth in the south portion of our city, as we welcomed the RiverTown Crossings Mall.  The addition of the mall certainly generated a good deal of commercial development and we certainly have welcomed all of these new businesses to our community.

While a tremendous amount of development took place in the south portion of our City, our downtown has remained viable. Grandville continues to provide a “small town” atmosphere, which is so important to all of us.  We are extremely pleased by the role played by many volunteers as they are an integral part of our Michigan Week Activities, Memorial Day Service, Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, and certainly our Fourth of July Celebration.
