This time of year is filled with long to-do lists and even longer lines at the mall. We pulled together a list of places in town that support local artists, craftspeople and small business owners. Why not make this Christmas different and enjoy shopping local pop-up shops, artisan markets and supporting small business owners in our community?
You may have already attended the Holiday Shop Hop in Uptown Neighborhood District kicking off the local holiday shopping season earlier this week. Take a look at the activities going on between now and Christmas and give yourself the chance to give truly unique gifts for everyone on your list this year!
Visit with Santa – swing by the Downtown Market to visit with Santa! He’ll be there checking in on local kids on December 14th and 15th from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. While you’re there be sure to wander the marketplace and grab some stocking stuffers and gifts for friends or coworkers that may be on your list.
Lowell Holiday Artist Market – This is a great way to get a walk-in and enjoy some beautiful locally made crafts and gifts. Inspire your own creativity or pick up a gift for the artist on your list!
Holiday PopUp Shop – The holiday pop up shop is another great opportunity to support local artists and small business owners. It’s only happening one day only on the 14th so be sure to head there first then bring the kiddos out to visit Santa at the Downtown Market!
What are some of your favorite places to shop locally? We love hearing recommendations from our clients past and present.
